Finnish architect Eero Saarinen’s beautiful and iconic Dulles Airport terminal building (opened in 1962) amid the wilds of northern Virginia is the main focus of attention. It is offset by a stylized Boeing 707 on departure. Together, both images represent the unbridled excitement and promise of the Jet Age - so emblematic of the early-1960s. Artist: Chris Bidlack.
