In the latest survey of our Minimalist design series highlighting Washington's built environment, we have captured the cornucopia of "crowns" that adorn the tops of the city's most notable buildings and monuments. Included are such iconic structures as the Jefferson Memorial, Library of Congress, and Renwick Gallery as well more esoteric local landmarks as the Georgetown Car Barn, Fort Reno Water Tower and the Old French Embassy on 16th Street - among others.

A must-have for architecture historians as well as fans of Minimalist design. Copyright (c) iconsDC.
