This handsome pint-sized tankard was the very first edition of the annual commemorative mugs produced by Wedgwood in its now well-established Father's Day series. The design is based on an American army recruiting poster of the War for Independence period and features a special commemorative back stamp. Inaugural issue of the mug included 10,000 units.
